The owners of Aspire Catering & Events, Michael and Elaina Moran have a combined 45 years of experience in the Hospitality industry.
Michael has led a distinguished career as Chef de Cuisine in the finest restaurants in New York and Florida which include Windows on the World, La Reserve, Chef Allen's and Bella Luna. He was Executive Chef to King Hussein and Queen Noor of Jordan, planning and preparing banquets for royalty and heads of state including Queen Elizabeth and former US Presidents. He received his culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of America graduating with the prestigious Keating award, voting him "Student most likely to succeed". He holds his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Florida International University's School of Hospitality Management where he has been a Chef Instructor since 1989.
Elaina has worked in the most prestigious restaurant dining rooms in South Florida including Chef Allen's, Mark's Place, Norman's  and Armadillo Cafe. She has experience as a Dining Room Manager, Banquet Manager and Bar Manager. Her catering experience includes all facets of planning and organizing events of all sizes. She holds both a Bachelors Degree and an Advanced Beverage Management certificate from Florida International University's School of Hospitality Management.
Over the past 8 years, both Michael and Elaina have been consulting as Culinary Coordinators for The South Beach Wine and Food Festival. Their expertise shows in the success of signature events like The Bubbleq and The Best of the Best.
